01: Display (No Major Upgrades)

As Galaxy A55 is a successor of Galaxy A54, the Samsung Galaxy A55 is built with 6.6-inch Super AMOLED display, with a 120 Hz refresh rate and 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution unchanged from its previous version A54. there won’t be major upgrade to display from old A54. Only difference is to slight increase in display (A54 6.4-inch -> A55 6.6-inch).

The display panel also supports HDR10+ and supports HDR streaming for YouTube, Netflix, Hotstar and Amazon Prime Videos. To get the image sharp and crisp A55 comes with 390ppi screen and support Always-on display.

The Samsung Galaxy A55 is packed with a 5000 mAh battery and runs on a new Exynos 1480 chipset with improved efficiency. As Galaxy A55 having a slightly larger display (0.2-inch) could contribute to increased power consumption. Still, it has significant improvement in battery life over the Galaxy A54 and there are notable improvements in all tests.
